Dauphine launches its first International Executive Certificate in the Luxury Sector

In 2015, Dauphine is launching its first international executive certificate in the luxury sector focusing on the importance of retail and digital advancement.

This new certificate from Dauphine for senior managers is called “LUXURY BRAND, RETAIL AND DIGITAL MANAGEMENT: Offline and Online Business Strategies”. It allows senior managers to discover the best strategies within the luxury industry and to prepare its actors for the new challenges awaiting them in the digital age.

This intensive program, entirely taught in English, is organized into 2 modules of 4 days. The first module, that will take place the June 3-6, 2015, focuses on branding and the distribution of premium brands. The second module, which takes place a month later from July 1-4, 2015, allows participants to dive into the digital world to learn about and perfect their use of new technologies in the luxury sector.

« Consumer behavior has radically changed with the arrival of new technology. The latter is in the process of transforming buying practices as well as distribution methods and obliges brands to rethink their traditional business strategies. For this new certificate, which focuses on retail and the digital world of brands and luxury, we have succeeded in assembling renowned experts in these domains (professors, top managers, and consultants). Our objective is to prepare participants in the best possible way for the new economic challenges facing them in tomorrow’s decision making, », highlights Michaela Merk, Director of the program, Associate Professor in Luxury Management at the Université Dauphine-Paris.
