A Successful EDBA Day 2015!

May 11 was a success with the second edition of the EDBA Day hosted by Pierre Volle and Lionel Garreau, Directors of the programme. EDBA Day is an opportunity for participants and graduates of Dauphine’s Executive DBA to interact with professors, researchers and future candidates and discuss the potential and various professional paths the programme offers. Over 40 people gathered to hear the presentations and round table discussions which led to a great deal of audience involvement.

These presentations highlighted the wide variety of profiles, professional experiences and nationalities that a programme such as the EDBA gathers around the central theme of research, and what makes it such a rich experience.

Among the key points touched upon:

  • The fact that the EDBA allows participants to develop high level research with a strong link with company challenges
  • The potential for managerial innovation linked to the research conducted by EDBA participants
  • The need to communicate the quality of the research led by EDBA participants (conferences, texts, research articles) in order to better publicise the quality of the programme.

The day concluded with Mustafa Ozbilgin, Co-director of the Research Chair Management Diversity at the Dauphine Foundation, who underlined the potential for international publication of EDBA academic texts and articles.

Don’t forget to note our third edition of EDBA Day in 2016!
